Semi-automated influenza A virus test system is IVD CE marked. The ArcDia™ influenza A virus test system is comprised of an analyser, test plates with influenza A virus specific reagents and RTI Sample Buffer.

ArcDia^™ TPX is a separation-free immunoassay platform, which allows ultra-sensitive immunoassays from miniature sample and reaction volumes (4-20 µl).

The test is easy to perform:
1. Open the seal, add sample and seal the plate again
2. Insert the plate into the analyser for incubation and automated analysis

The preliminary results are available in 20 minutes and final results in 2 hours. The tests are suitable for high-throughput screening in batch mode as well as single sample analysis in random-access mode.

mariPOC^®, ArcDia’s automated point-of-care analysis system for multianalyte respiratory tract infection testing, is not currently available for clinical IVD use. The estimated date for IVD CE marking is in summer 2010. Currently only influenza A virus test is cleared for in vitro diagnostic use.
