mariPOC^® (IVD CE) is a multianalyte respiratory infection rapid test for near-patient and point-of-care diagnostic use. The test system has similar sensitivity and spesificity as laboratory methods. mariPOC^® test system is easy-to-use and has short hands-on-time. The analysis and result reading are automated ensuring unambiguous results. Therefore the mariPOC^® test system is ideal in smaller units such as pediatric or occupational health care. The test system consists of a bench-top size analyser and a set of pathogen-spesific test reagents in dry state. The test reagents have been selected to include common pathogens causing over-lapping respiratory tract symptoms.

mariPOC^® test system has 3 test plates to choose from:

mariPOC^® combi (IVD CE, REF 1104M)
Consists of 10 analytes. mariPOC^® combi test plate includes both respi and pharyngitis tests in one test plate. The test type is chosen according to the analyte combination. Nasopharynx and throat as sampling location are both applicable.

mariPOC^® respi (IVD CE, REF 1114M)
The respi test analytes are influenza A and B viruses, parainfluenza viruses 1, 2 and 3, respiratory syncitial virus (RSV), human metapneumovirus, adenovirus and S. pneumoniae. The latter is optional. Recommended sampling location is nasopharynx.

mariPOC^® pharyn (IVD CE, REF 1124M)
The pharyngitis test analytes are Strep A (Streptococcus pyogenes) and adenovirus. Recommended sampling location is throat.
