
mariPOC® respi test for influenza-like illnesses
The mariPOC® respi test covers 11 pathogens for detection of influenza-like illnesses with laboratory level performance. The test is performed from either minimally invasive nasopharyngeal swab samples or aspirate samples. Over ¾ of positive samples are reported in only 20 minutes allowing treatment decision making without delays. Low positive and negative results are reported within 2 hours.

Sample pretreatment – Nasopharyngeal swab
1. Take a sample from the nasopharynx with flocked swab (Copan or MWE) and insert the swab into a test tube
2. Dispense sample buffer and vortex
3. Insert the bar coded test tube into the analyser for automated analysis

1. Take 300 ul of aspirate sample
2. Dispense sample buffer and vortex
