mariPOC COVID-19 tests are suitable for travel certificates in the EU
The use of the mariPOC SARS-CoV-2, Respi+ and Quick Flu+ tests for EU COVID certificates have been approved by a working group of the European Commission.
The EU COVID certificate can be used in border crossing situations within the EU to facilitate safe and free movement. The certificate is accepted in all EU member states. Individuals with a negative test result according to the EU COVID certificate should be exempted from the quarantine obligation, unless they come from high-risk areas. The validity of the coronavirus test result is 72 hours for PCR tests and 48 hours for rapid antigen tests such as mariPOC tests (in those EU countries where this type of test is accepted). mariPOC tests also meet the British requirement for COVID-19 tests for the travel certificate.
